Always quick on the draw throughout its 24 years of operation, UK travel trade specialists Steve Reed Tourism have come up with their ‘Magnificent Seven’ for coach and tour operators and GTOs.
The events cover much of the country, from the Lake District and Blackpool to Southport and Dorset. There are also opportunities for hotels, attractions and destinations to meet and talk business directly with tour buyers. The dates are:
• 27 Feb-3 March – Torquay Abbey Lawn Hotel for a Devon fam. Devon’s top attractions await you…
• 2-6 April – Weymouth/Dorset fam. This includes a cruise, visit to the Tank Museum and a steam train ride.
• 23-24 April – Southport Groups Showcase. Includes a special tourism exhibition and coach fam to local attractions. This event offers overnight options as well as the day delegate-only option for Mon 24th April.
• 17-21 September – Blackpool and the Lakes fam. A full day Lake District tour including a Windermere Cruise and tour, plus Blackpool Illuminations and the Theatre.
• 1-2 October – Windsor SRT Group Celebration, in conjunction with Classic Lodges Hotels. A networking dinner and exhibition at the Grovefield Hotel, this event also includes a River Thames cruise [tbc] as well as a group travel exhibition. Attractions, destinations and hotels can also exhibit here.
• 16 October – Daish's and Friends at Denbies Wine Estate, Dorking. This is the latest in the series of one day Daish’s Holidays events around the country. This includes a group travel exhibition; wine tour of Denbies Wine Estate and a land train experience through the vineyard. Attractions and destinations can also exhibit here.
• 5-9 Dec – Bournemouth Christmas Celebration Get-together. An opportunity for GTOs, operators and customers of Daish’s Holidays to join the team at this festive special.
