Stratford Literary Festival is giving local authors the opportunity to get their work seen during the 2020 spring festival. From the 9 to 17 May, the Festival will feature a Local Authors Pop Up Bookshop inside the Festival Hub Marquee. Curated by Warwickshire author Jacci Gooding, it will be open to all local authors whether traditionally or self-published.
The Pop-Up Bookshop will be a great opportunity for authors to showcase their work and sell to the public. Located on Bridgefoot Lawn beside the Crowne Plaza hotel, the Festival Hub Marquee will serve as the main base and information point for the Festival. Visitors will also be able to purchase tickets for events there, as well as enjoy a number of workshops and children’s events.
‘We are lucky to have such a wealth of local writing talent in and around Stratford,’ says Festival Director Annie Ashworth, ‘and we are excited to showcase this once again at the Festival for our audiences and visitors to enjoy. Whether your genre is thriller, lifestyle, cookery, historical, fabulous fiction, poetry, children’s, YA, non-fiction, romance or more - we want to hear from you!’
