The Stratford Literary Festival’s spring events smashed previous attendance records – with a staggering 30% increase in ticket sales. And the festival is back on 19 July with David Nicholls, BAFTA award-winning writer and creator of the best-selling One Day, who will be talking about his much-anticipated new book Sweet Sorrow. In addition to this, the Festival’s Winter Weekend runs from 1 to 3 November. Tickets are on sale at stratlitfest.co.uk
At the festival's spring event (pictured here), not only did major headliners, such as Dame Darcey Bussell, attract packed houses at this year’s 12th festival, there was an appetite too for great literary fiction authors including Ali Smith, author of the Seasons trilogy, and historians Alison Weir and Tracy Borman.
