Full casting has been announced for new British musical, Mrs Henderson Presents, which will open at the Noel Coward Theatre on February 9 for a strictly limited season.
Joining previously announced Tracie Bennett as Laura Henderson, Ian Bartholomew as Vivian Van Damm and Emma Williams as Maureen will be Jamie Foreman as Arthur, Robert Hands as Cromer, Matthew Malthouse as Eddie, Samuel Holmes as Bertie, Katie Bernstein as Peggy, Lizzy Connolly as Doris, Lauren Hood as Vera and Liz Ewing as Lady Conway.
They will be joined by Sarah Bakker, Andrew Bryant, Rhiannon Chesterman, Alexander Delamere, Emily Goodenough, Victoria Hay, Oliver Jackson, Ian Gareth Jones, Katrina Kleve, Lauren Logan, Tania Newton, Sam O’Rourke, Neil Stewart and Dickie Wood.
Based on the film of the same name starring Judi Dench (2005), Mrs Henderson Presents features original screenplay by Martin Sherman, lyrics by Don Black, and music by George Fenton and Simon Chamberlain, who both collaborated on the original film.
Terry Johnson directs, with choreography by Andrew Wright, set design by Tim Shortall, costume design by Paul Wills, lighting design by Ben Ormerod, and sound design by Gareth Owen.
Richard Mawbey takes care of hair and make-up design, with orchestrations by Larry Blank, with musical supervision by Mike Dixon.
