The British Guild of Tourist Guides and the Institute of Tourist Guiding – working together as Blue and Green Badge Tourist Guides – is set to be the headline sponsor for the National Tour Guiding Conference, which takes place on November 9 at the historic Drapers Hall in the City of London.

The event offers expert advice on making tours more bookable and accessible to an international audience, as well as networking opportunities for all types of tour guide – from Blue, Green and White Badge professionally qualified guides to volunteers and local greeter schemes.

The Discover England Fund, US Connections project, has confirmed that Lyn Hughes (pictured above), Co-Founder of Wanderlust and Founder of the Wanderlust World Guide Awards, is set to headline the conference seminar programme with an inspirational talk about the path that led her to establish the World Guide Awards.
