Longleat officially welcomed its millionth visitor as 2019 drew to a close – a milestone achieved with the arrival of Dave and Katrina Jackson, and their sons Bodhie and Lachlan, to the Wiltshire visitor attraction. To mark the occasion, they were presented with Annual Passes along with a selection of Longleat memorabilia – as well as the chance to meet Viscount and Viscountess Weymouth (pictured here).
“We were delighted to welcome Dave and Katrina and their family as our millionth visitors this year, especially as Katrina was visiting to celebrate her birthday,” says Ceawlin, Viscount Weymouth. “2019 has been a fantastically exciting and busy time for the entire team here at Longleat which got under way with the opening of our ground-breaking new Koala Creek at Easter. The enclosure not only enables people to walk among the koalas but also to find out more about the conservation work being undertaken to help protect them in the wild.“
