If our feature on the picturesque Channel Islands in the latest issue of Group Travel World magazine has inspired you to head south, pencil in a trip to see the island’s Pallot Steam, Motor and General Museum collection.
Lyndon Charles Pallot, or Don to his friends, was a creative mechanical engineer and Jersey born and bred. He collected examples of our mechanical heritage – think steam engines, farm machinery, vehicles and more – and his museum is bound to stir up personal memories for many visitors. (The collection even includes a Compton Theatre Organ and vehicles such as a 1960s Ford Anglia and a mini-moke.)
The museum offers discounted rates for groups. And you can read more about what the popular island of Jersey has to offer groups in the December/January 2017 issue of Group Travel World magazine – click the button above to read the digital edition.
