Special discounted tickets have been introduced for groups visiting the festive ‘Glow’ illuminations at RHS Garden Harlow Carr in Harrogate. The tickets – available on Thursday evenings from Thursday 21st November to Thursday 19th December – are priced from £4 rather than the usual £8pp when pre-booking groups of 10-plus.  

On the outskirts of Harrogate, in 58 acres of glorious wooded valley, this must-visit Yorkshire garden Harlow Carr captures the essence of Yorkshire within a beautiful garden setting.

The seasonal Glow Illuminations at RHS Garden Harlow Carr run from 21st November to 28th December, setting the gardens aglow, every Thursday – Saturday (except Boxing Day) from 4.30pm – 8pm.  Bringing this beautiful garden to light in a magical way, special lighting effects create an illuminated trail around the garden’s magnificent trees and shrubs and sparkling illuminations are reflected in the lake, on the Streamside walk, Winter Walk, Doric columns and Alpine House.  The atmosphere will be enhanced still further with a choir and special family activities in a dedicated marquee.  Along with this fantastic seasonal display, groups can also enjoy superb Christmas shopping at the RHS Shop and delicious festive treats at the famous Bettys Tea Rooms.

Special rate is applicable to Thursday evening tickets only.  Entry is from 4.30pm onwards until the garden closes at 20.00.  Group price for Fridays and Saturdays is £8.00pp based on a group of 10+.  The garden itself is open every day of the year except Christmas Day and during the winter months it closes at 4pm.
