Thursford in Norfolk is home to the world-famous Christmas Spectacular, attracting almost six million visitors to date. The show is a three-hour extravaganza of singing, dancing, comedy and variety. Every November and December the venue is transformed into a winter wonderland, offering audiences the opportunity to escape into the world of Christmas. Firmly putting North Norfolk on the map, it continues to be the biggest Christmas show of its kind in Europe.

With an assembled cast of over 120 singers, dancers, orchestra, and speciality acts, and 1,400 audience members situated inside a steam museum, this is a show like no other. Not only does the talent come from afar, with many performing on the West End, but audiences as far as the USA make the special trip to this Christmas spectacle.

From 8 November to 23 December, audiences are invited to book their seats, grab a mince pie, and be transported into a Christmas spectacular like no other. This show is a fast-moving celebration of the festive season, featuring an eclectic mix of both seasonal and year-round favourites. 2023’s run sees the show enter its 46^th year, promising to be the biggest yet.

Thursford is also home to the famous Santa’s Magical Journey, an immersive walk-through experience offering guests the opportunity to travel through a winter wonderland filled with animatronic bears, penguins, and elves as they help Father Christmas load his sleigh. The journey continues outside with The Enchanted Journey of Light, an enchanted walk around the gardens of Thursford filled with Chinese lantern displays. New models are expected for 2023. Those with children can book to visit Santa, and those without have the opportunity to experience Fantasy Land prior to the show. Enchanted Journey of Light can also be booked separately.
