Independent family-owned coach holiday group Daish’s Holidays is driving its way to increased success with the appointment of a Driver and Compliance Manager, a newly created role.
Ryan Penhallurick (pictured here) has been appointed as Driver and Compliance Manager following acknowledgment of his hard work and diligence working as a coach driver for the group for almost 12 months. Ryan is based at the group’s head office in Bournemouth and now works alongside the Scheduling and Logistics Manager as well as the Fleet Manager. He is responsible for managing and supporting a staff of 41 drivers who work across 18 UK routes, transferring guests to and from any of the 12 hotels in the Daish’s Holiday property portfolio.
Ryan says: “I am thoroughly enjoying my new role and have had supportive messages from both the drivers and hotels. Daish’s Holidays provide extensive training opportunities for employees to assist with career progression and I’m excited to have the opportunity to complete a Transport Manager CPC qualification as part of my new role.
“It’s great to be part of the Daish’s family and am very excited to have been given the opportunity to further progress my career at a company of this calibre. I am looking forward to the challenge of being responsible for overseeing the driving team of an operator of such as considerable size.”
Commenting on the appointment Paul Harper, commercial director at Daish’s Holidays, adds: “We wish to congratulate Ryan on his promotion to this newly created role of Driver and Compliance Manager. He will play an important role in delivering driver training to improve standards, when necessary, to ensure our driving staff always maintain the highest standard of operation to our customers in terms of service, punctuality, and presentation. Welcome Ryan.”
Daish’s Holidays offers value for money holidays and customers have the choice between coach or self-drive options across England and Wales.
