Global networking specialist Connections is to hold its second event focused on high-end adventure travel in the Azores, Portugal, from 27-30 October, 2019.

Connections Adventure 2019 will run in partnership with Turismo de Portugal and Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico, and will be dedicated to leading luxury buyers and suppliers who offer extraordinary travel experiences with a strong adventure element.

The Connections platform offers an evolving international network of travel professionals the opportunity to meet and develop business relationships through memorable experiences. Events focus on sectors including luxury, wellness, meetings and weddings, with the inaugural Connections Adventure event taking place in Slovenia in 2018.

Connections Adventure 2019 will welcome up to 80 selected decision-makers who will enjoy a variety of local, authentic experiences including nature walks, trekking to the King’s View Lookout, a whale watching boat trip and a tour of the tea plantation at Plantações de Chá Gorreana. The programme will also include an educational element tailored towards trends and challenges facing the market, with attendees also enjoying inspirational talks from pioneers in adventure travel.
