Icelandair and the Iceland national football team have launched the Team Iceland Stopover – a series of free 90-minute football-inspired experiences for passengers to enjoy this summer.

Iceland were the smallest nation to qualify for the World Cup this summer, and as a proud sponsor of the national team, the transatlantic airline are celebrating. The Team Iceland Stopover experiences showcase the culture of the nation and its football history, with 90-minute experiences co-created by the national team players and the airline.

The free Team Iceland Stopover includes:

• 90-minute football inspired experiences co-created by the Iceland national football team and Icelandair.
• There’s something for all of the family, from enjoying some downtime with ‘Relax like a Pro’ to discovering the skill and strength of the players with ‘Train the Icelandic Way’.
• All experiences will be hosted by an 'Icelandair Buddy', a member of the airline team who is passionate about football and their country to provide an authentic unique experience
• It’s available to book for free for Icelandair passengers from today and the experiences will be live from 29th May to 25th June.
