This spring, step back in time at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire as the UNESCO World Heritage Site transforms into a battlefield for its annual Jousting Tournament with The Knights of Middle England. The tournament is set to take place over the Bank Holiday weekend from Saturday 3rd to Monday 5th May 2025 between 10am and 5pm. Visitors are invited to experience the sights, sounds, and excitement of a medieval battlefield with old English traditions featuring knights, noble steeds, archery, falconry, Living History and other immersive experiences.

This year’s event will be held across two locations within the Palace grounds. The Walled Garden will transport guests to a living history medieval camp, where they can immerse themselves in the daily lives of knights, squires, and artisans. Meanwhile, the South Lawn will be the centre of all the action, hosting the main joust alongside captivating falconry displays, archery demonstrations, interactive jester performances, and engaging workshops for all ages.

Entry to the Jousting Tournament is included with a valid Palace & Gardens Ticket or Palace and Play Pass which grants access to both Blenheim Palace and Adventure Play for a full year, making it fantastic value for families visiting to enjoy all that Britain’s Greatest Palace has to offer. A Palace and Play Pass is available at £165 for a family of four (two adults and two children) and at £51 per adult and £41 per child for individual day passes. As part of Blenheim Palace’s commitment to accessibility, Mobiloo will be onsite on Sunday 5th May, and BSL-signed Joust performance times will be confirmed soon.
