Group Travel World magazine had its beginning as a supplement to Coach and Bus Week, an industry-leading publication now in its 34th year. As demand grew, and the market increased, Group Travel World magazine (previously called Out and About) developed a strong identity of its own and expanded into an independent publication. Since then, GTW has gone from strength to strength, building a lengthy list of subscribers and partnerships with industry leaders, including becoming a member of Ukinbound. Key tourism organisations such as English Heritage work closely with us and world-famous tourism brands such as Best Western, Eurotunnel, Ticketmaster, the National Trust and Merlin repeatedly choose GTW for their advertisements, features and news.
The UK’s number one group travel title, our audience ranges from group travel organisers to coach and tour operators, special-interest clubs and societies, school groups, youth groups and company travel clubs. We have expanded to include the European market in both our features and our readers, and with this website offering digital subscriptions to our magazine, GTW is now available to a worldwide audience. We are the only group travel magazine in the UK which is paid for, proving our quality and worth to our readers. GTW prides itself on being an invaluable resource to everyone in the group travel industry – but also a high-quality, inspiring read.
Our head office is in Peterborough, where a large busy office brings together reporters, writers, publishing managers, subscription managers and the Editor. Other members of the team work from various locations including France – we are a travel magazine, after all!
Group Travel World magazine is continually looking to the future, staying up-to-date with developments and change and always aspiring to excellence, for all our readers and partners. Travel is our passion, and we like to share that with as big an audience as possible.
