The Kent venue plays host to a number of world premieres
The Orchard Theatre in Dartford is hosting the world premiere of a collection of shows that are set to begin their national and international tours.
The theatre is also one of the first venues to boast a dedicated Groups’ Club, which offers free membership to group travel organisers and includes benefits such as special offers and group discounts, no booking fees, newsletter and email updates and invitations to events, as well as cast meet and greets, backstage tours and preview trips.
Groups’ Co-ordinator Kay Hadley is on hand to help GTW readers with every step of their booking and can suggest additional VIP packages to complete their experience.
Upcoming shows include Zippos Presents Cirque Berserk, which runs from January 13-17, 2016 and the musical Footloose, which runs from February 8-13, 2016.
Officially opened in 1983 by His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent, The Orchard Theatre has quickly gained a reputation as one of the country’s premiere venues, presenting a remarkable range of entertainment. It is this reputation for success that has attracted huge productions such as illusionist Derren Brown’s Infamous and Miracle tours, which both previewed at The Orchard Theatre.
The number one best-selling author, Peter James, also chose Dartford to launch the world stage premieres for the drama adaptations of his novels The Perfect Murder and Dead Simple, and the current National Theatre production, An Inspector Calls, recently began its tour here.
Dartford audiences have seen a world of entertainment arrive on their doorsteps and have little need to take the short commute to the West End to enjoy big productions such as New Jersey Nights, Annie, Chicago, The Mousetrap and Dirty Dancing - all currently booking at The Orchard Theatre for 2016.
